Wendy would go to the park sometimes to tell her stories of Peter Pan and Neverland to the young children.
After their adventure in Neverland, Wendy always kept the window open for Peter, (the only time she closes and locks the window is during the winter, because one day, Michael almost died of pneumonia because Wendy had left the window open and a very cold wind blew into the nursery. She explained this to Peter and he understood, tp her suprise)
Wendy has a locket that's filled with pixie dust around her neck that Peter gave her. Tinkerbell made the locket with her named engraved in baby blue
Wendy's Happy Thought is of Peter Pan.
The Darling family live in the same time era as The Banks family.
Before Peter said goodbye to Wendy,when they finally reach the Darling Household, she finally gave him that "kiss" she wanted to give they young boy in the begining of the film. And Tinkerbell didn't stop her. She understood that they might not see each other for quite sometime.....
Wendy Darling believed in fairies all her life.This was based in kindness, not faith. It was a fearful thing. Sometimes she woke in the middle of the night panicked at the thought she might stop one day. What a world, to place the life of even as flawed a person as a Tinkerbell in the hands of children’s ability to believe.
Coming back, Wendy expected to miss the magic, the beauty, the feel of the wind in her unpinned hair. She expected to miss Peter, and she did. But she didn’t expect to miss the exhausting task of being the Lost Boys’ young mother.And she didn’t miss it, not exactly. Wendy missed being useful, and she missed being listened to.But she told her brothers stories, at night, still. She watched the light grow in their eyes and felt powerful for the first time since Neverland.
Michael came home from school crying one day. He told his eldest sibling that A boy on the playground had said fairies were stupid and fake. The teachers thought it was exhaustion or the disappointed hopes of a child who still believed his big sister’s bedtime stories. When father laughed at him at table, John hesitated for a moment and then joined in. Wendy pled an upset stomach and fled to her room. She was angry and hurt at her father for laughing at Michael and she was extremely outraged at John for not saying anything to help their little brother.
Wendy is a dog and cat person
Wendy loves the color blue. Although, she thinks all colors are beautiful.
One day, a group of girls made fun of Wendy and pushed her into the mud saying things like "Whens Peter coming for you Wendy?" and "It's all childish nonsense." The last thing they did was say quietly to her face "We don't believe in fairies" and pushed her into the mud once more. At that moment, Wendy realized that the real world was cruel and cold...She cried silently, wishing to return to Neverland....
Wendy's favorite authors are Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Washington Irving. She also loves the Brothers Grim
